By downloading, installing, or using TripStack Vacation Planner ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.
1. Use of the App
TripStack is a vacation planning tool that helps you organize trips, track budgets, scan receipts, convert currencies, explore maps with directions, discover places to visit, and book flights, hotels, and accommodations through integrated third-party travel partners.
You agree to use the App only for its intended purpose and in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and any data stored within the App.
You must be at least 18 years old to use this App.
2. Account & Authentication
You may sign in using Apple Sign-In or your email address. Your sign-in method is linked to your subscription and purchase history.
You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or engage in fraudulent activity.
3. Subscriptions & Payments
TripStack offers a free tier with limited features and a Pro subscription that unlocks premium features including unlimited trips, unlimited saved places, receipt scanning, currency converter, PDF export, and offline packs.
Monthly Plan: $4.99/month with a 7-day free trial. After the trial, you will be charged $4.99 per month unless cancelled.
Yearly Plan: $29.99/year billed annually.
Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
You can manage, cancel, or restore your subscription in your Apple ID account settings or through the Restore Purchase option in the App's settings.
Free tier limits: 2 trips and 7 saved places. Exceeding these limits requires a Pro subscription.
4. Free Trial
The monthly plan includes a 7-day free trial. If you cancel before the trial ends, you will not be charged.
Only one free trial is available per Apple ID. Any unused portion of a free trial is forfeited when purchasing a subscription.
5. Data Collection & Privacy
By using the App, you consent to the collection and use of your data as described in our Privacy Policy.
We collect and process the following categories of data: Contact Info (name, email, phone number, physical address), Financial Info (payment info), Location (precise location), User Content (emails/messages, customer support data), Identifiers (user ID, device ID), Purchases (purchase history), Usage Data (product interaction, advertising data), Diagnostics (crash data, performance data), Surroundings (environment scanning), and Other Data.
This data may be linked to your identity and may be used for tracking across apps and websites owned by other companies.
You can manage your privacy settings, including location and camera permissions, through your device Settings at any time.

6. Location & Map Services
The App uses your precise location to provide directions (walking, driving, and transit), nearby place recommendations, and trip planning features.
Location data is collected when you use map and navigation features and is linked to your identity.
You can use map features for trip exploration without enabling location access. Location access is required for real-time directions and ETA updates.
You can disable location access at any time in your device Settings.
7. Camera & Receipt Scanning
The App requires camera access for the receipt scanning feature, which processes receipt images on-device to extract total amounts for expense tracking.
Receipt images are processed locally on your device and are not uploaded to external servers.
Camera access is only used when you explicitly initiate a receipt scan.
You can revoke camera permissions at any time in your device Settings.
8. Intellectual Property
All content, design, graphics, logos, and software in TripStack are owned by or licensed to us and are protected by intellectual property laws.
Destination photos are provided by Pexels and are subject to the Pexels license.
You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from the App or its content.
9. User Content
You retain ownership of any data you enter into the App, including trip details, expenses, budget information, and scanned receipts.
Your data is stored locally on your device and may be synced via iCloud when available.
You are solely responsible for the accuracy of the information you enter.
We do not claim ownership over your personal trip data.
10. Travel Booking Services
TripStack provides access to flight, hotel, and accommodation booking services through third-party travel partners (including but not limited to Booking.com, Trip.com, and other major travel platforms).
When you make a booking through the App, you are entering into a contract directly with the third-party travel provider. TripStack acts as an intermediary and is not a party to the booking contract.
All bookings are subject to the terms, conditions, cancellation policies, and privacy policies of the respective travel provider. You are responsible for reviewing and agreeing to their terms before completing a booking.
TripStack is not responsible for the quality, availability, pricing, or fulfillment of services provided by third-party travel partners. Any disputes regarding bookings should be resolved directly with the travel provider.
TripStack may earn a commission from bookings made through the App. This does not affect the price you pay.
Prices displayed in the App are provided by our partners and may vary. Final pricing is confirmed at the time of booking with the travel provider.
11. Disclaimers
TripStack is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied.
We do not guarantee the accuracy of weather data, exchange rates, maps, directions, ETA estimates, booking prices, availability, or any third-party information displayed in the App.
Receipt scanning results are approximate and should be verified by the user. We are not liable for errors in scanned data.
Currency conversion rates are for informational purposes only and may not reflect real-time market rates.
Travel booking information, including pricing and availability, is provided by third-party partners and may change without notice.
12. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, TripStack and its developers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App.
Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App or subscription in the 12 months preceding the claim.
13. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time for violation of these terms.
You may stop using the App and cancel your subscription at any time.
Upon termination, your right to use the App ceases immediately. Data stored locally on your device remains accessible to you.
14. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
We encourage you to review these terms periodically.
